Slice of Literacy Pizza Hut Foundation Community Grant, Fox Valley Literacy is able to provide the following Literacy Programs!

Fox Valley Literacy Offers Tutoring In:
Reading, math, GED/HSED, college preparation, workplace skills and career advancement, digital skills, U.S. citizenship, and English language, in addition to the group classes.
Fox Valley Literacy Also Offers Group Classes
Students Must Register to Attend Classes
New students can join classes that have already begun (when there is space available) or get on a waiting list for a new class designed for certain interests, levels, and availability. ADULT HMONG LANGUAGE CLASS
Classes will be July 6 through August 26.

To become a Fox Valley Literacy student, fill out the Student Form and schedule an appointment to meet with one of our Adult Literacy Specialists! You have to be 18 years or older to become a student and you can start learning English now by attending small group conversation classes!

Q: Who can attend your classes?
A: Our classes are open to all adults in the community. Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your English skills, we welcome you!
Q: How much do the classes cost?
A: All our classes and tutoring services are completely free for students.
Q: How do I enroll in a class?
A: To enroll, you can contact us via our online student application (link), phone, email, or visit our office. We can help you get started!
Q: What instruction do you offer?
A: We offer classes in Reading, Writing, Math, English language, Civics & Citizenship, Computer Skills, and Individual Projects like GED, HSED, Citizenship and Driver’s test, and more.
Q: What if I have a busy schedule?
A: We understand. Our classes are flexible and we do our best to design a schedule that works for you.
Q: Can I take more than one class at a time?
A: Yes! You are welcome to enroll in multiple classes.
Q: What materials do I need for class?
A: We provide most materials, including pens/pencils and notebooks to students who need them, but you may be asked to bring basic supplies like notebooks or pens. Some students bring laptop computers.
Q: Are the classes in-person or online?
A: Most classes are in-person at our Appleton, Wisconsin, location, but classes are also available throughout Outagamie, Waupaca, northern Winnebago, and northern Calumet counties, as well as online.
Q: What can I expect from taking your classes?
A: Improving your skills can open new opportunities for employment, civic engagement, and personal growth. Our inclusive and supportive staff and tutors will help you to achieve your goals.
