At Fox Valley Literacy, we believe everyone deserves the chance to succeed. In Wisconsin, where 1 in 7 adults struggles with basic literacy, your support is crucial. We’re seeking passionate volunteer tutors to help empower adults in our community through free classes in English, General Education, Civics & Citizenship, and more.

By becoming a tutor, you can play a vital role in breaking the cycle of low literacy, helping individuals gain the skills they need to secure better employment, support their families, and fully engage in civic life. Other Ways to Volunteer

At Fox Valley Literacy, we rely on the support of dedicated volunteers (see General Volunteer FAQs page). In addition to volunteer tutors, we’re seeking help with these needs:

• Childcare assistance while our adult students are learning

• Transportation for our adult students to and from lessons

• Office tasks that help us support our learners
